Aurora Borealis
Aurora Borealis magic over the Arctic skies of Norway and Finland. Incredible video presentation with a time lapse.
Enjoy the view from the comfort of YouTube channel, it’s not always easy for photographers to be shooting pictures during the light of day and to stay awake during the night in search for the northern lights. My experience has been one of shooting pictures during the the early morning, working during afternoon and evening and resting and sleeping during the night time.
Aurora Borealis defined
An aurora is a natural light display in the sky (from the Latin word aurora, “sunrise” or the Roman goddess of dawn), especially in the high latitude (Arctic and Antarctic) regions, caused by the collision of solar wind and magnetospheric charged particles with the high altitude atmosphere (thermosphere).

Auroras Borealis seen near the center of the magnetic pole may be high up overhead. Looing at the Aurora Borealis from further out they illuminate the northern horizon with greenish glow and at times faint red colors. Aurora Borealis also display magnetic field lines and curtain-like structures, that can flicker and can change quickly within seconds or keep on glowing for a long time, even in hours with fluorescent green colors.
